Home Lessons Lesson 66

Lesson 66 · عِلْمًا

More in what? Clarifying with ـًا

Some sentences are vague until you add one more word: أَخِي أَكْثَرُ مِنِّي (my brother is more than me)… more what? Add an indefinite noun ending in ـًا: أَكْثَرُ مِنِّي عِلْمًا (more than me in knowledge). This clarifying word is called التَّمْيِيزُ.
