In the classroom فِي الْفَصْلِ

هٰذَا فَصْلٌ.haadhaa faṣlun.This is a classroom.

فِي الْفَصْلِ مُدَرِّسٌ وَطَالِبٌ.fil-faṣli mudarrisun wa-ṭaalibun.In the classroom there is a teacher and a student.

الْمُدَرِّسُ مِنْ مِصْرَ.al-mudarrisu min miṣra.The teacher is from Egypt.

وَالطَّالِبُ مِنْ بَاكِسْتَانَ.waṭ-ṭaalibu min baakistaana.And the student is from Pakistan.

أَيْنَ الْكِتَابُ؟ayna l-kitaabu?Where is the book?

الْكِتَابُ عَلَى الْمَكْتَبِ.al-kitaabu ʿala l-maktabi.The book is on the desk.

وَالْقَلَمُ فِي الْحَقِيبَةِ.wal-qalamu fil-ḥaqiibati.And the pen is in the bag.
